Kayode Yussuf
Kayode Yussuf is a beneficiary of the Shell LiveWIRE Nigeria programme.
Shell LiveWIRE gave me the push to live my dream, and start my own business. The programme encouraged me to register my business legally, get a corporate account and provided seed funds of N750,000 to help me to start my business. After the training workshop in 2014, I refined my business plan, identified the target market and improved my product. My business has grown. From garri packaging, we have moved on to other staple foods like cassava flour and we are launching a new range of low-fat, healthy bread-spread which will hit the market like a storm. My company, Greenville Organic Foods has been featured in a documentary by China Central Television (CCTV), an international cable news station as one of the innovative businesses from Africa. In addition, I emerged as a semi-finalist in the Anzisha price for young African entrepreneurs and bagged the first-place position in the 2016 Microsoft/ Intel and HP SME Business Competition.
